at Wolverton Pond
"The Enchanted Forest"
The
hills where alive with music at Wolverton Hills with
the flutes and French horns transforming the forests
into a mystical land with the presentation of the
"The Enchanted Forest". This magical
nighttime walking play was a great success shown to
all sold out crowds in September 2002.
The
Enchanted Forest by
prolific Peterborough-based composer, R. Murray
Schafer, is for young and old.
It is a nighttime moving musical play through
the woods at Wolverton
Hills in the countryside of Pontypool.
Murray Schafer is an innovator, who has
pioneered the field of environmental music theatre.
He is known not only in Canada, but abroad.

2001:
Chinese and western
musicians, opera singers, a girl's choir, Tai Chi
performers and puppets united in four performances. This event was a great success..... over 1,400
patrons attended! The World
